About BabyJot

Our Mission

BabyJot is a free, privacy-first baby tracking app that runs entirely in your browser. Log feeding sessions, diaper changes, sleep, and health events — all stored locally on your device so your baby's data never leaves your hands.

Why We Built This

The early weeks with a newborn are exhausting and chaotic. Existing baby tracker apps either require accounts, upload your data to the cloud, or bury the core logging behind paywalls. We wanted something simpler: a fast, offline-capable tracker that respects your privacy and just gets out of the way.

BabyJot is built for parents who want to know when the last feed was, how long their baby slept today, and whether the diaper count is on track — without signing up for anything.

How It Works

Everything is stored in your browser's localStorage. There is no account, no server, and no subscription. You can export your data as JSON or CSV at any time, and import it again if you switch devices. A factory reset clears everything — your data, your choice.

Our Commitment

BabyJot will always be free. We're committed to keeping it private-by-design and fast. No tracking beyond what analytics require, no ads inside the tracker itself, and no data stored anywhere except your own device.

Meet the Creator

Yarden Porat is a software developer and new parent who built BabyJot out of a real need. After struggling with existing trackers during the newborn phase, Yarden set out to build the simplest possible tool that covers everything a new parent actually needs to track.

"I wanted a tracker that worked instantly on my phone, didn't require me to create an account at 3am, and never sent my baby's data anywhere. BabyJot is that tool."
